Ingredients
  

  • 4 thin pork cutlets
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Neutral frying oil
  • Lemon wedges
  • Fresh parsley optional

Method
 

  1. Pound the pork cutlets evenly to approximately ¼-inch thickness.
  2. Pat the meat dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Set up three dishes containing flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  4. Coat each cutlet in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat oil in a large skillet to approximately 350–360°F.
  6. Fry the schnitzel for about 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and crisp.
  7. Transfer to a wire rack or paper towels.
  8. Serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges and traditional German side dishes.
